The second black woman "Raissa Santana" to win Miss Brazil in 61 years

The Brazil has just crowned its first black Miss Brazil in 30 years. Raissa Santana, 21, comes after Deise Nunes, who was elected back in 1986.The finale of the Miss Brazil 2016 pageant took place in Maringa, Brazil this week end, and the big winner Raissa Santana can be doubly delighted. After the competition, Santana commented : “I’m very emotional. This here is a mixture of great emotions. I didn’t expect to win this title, but I am very happy to have won this title and to represent black beauty and encourage girls who have the dream of having something, to conquer, to be a model, to be a Miss…now I want to encourage these girls and show them that they can.”The new Miss Brazil will represent her country during the 2016 Miss Universe pageant that will take place in the Philippines next January.
